Over the past 2 years, COVID-19 impacts everyone’s life and family, our society and the whole world. On the bright side, we all get over the challenges, and move on Drosophila research. On the dark side, it’s a new normal facing delivery delay, inflation and fluctuation of exchange rates. WellGenetics keeps the microinjection service fee unchanged for the past 6 years, but now we have to adjust it as following. We will be increasing service fees of Plasmid DNA Prep., Fly Amplification, 200-embryos Microinjection, Screening and Balancing by 6%, beginning from June 1st 2022 (1/6/2022 or 2022/6/1). For regular PhiC31- and P-element-mediated transgenesis (<13kb plasmid and w+ screening at regular strain), you are welcome to select our new package from DNA prep. to screening at original price, US$274. The quantity of embryos in each microinjection is decreased to 100 embryos, but you still enjoy our positive guarantee for plasmid <13kb with correct cloning. In another words, most of your PhiC31 and P-element projects will not be affected by the new price scheme. For challenging PhiC31- and P-element-mediated transgenesis, such as plasmid >13kb, we suggest you to take our regular microinjection package for 200-embryo injection or more to get your positive lines on time. For bulk order of microinjection packages (from DNA prep. to screening), despite of 100-embryo or 200-embryo microinjection packages, you still enjoy 10% off for 10 projects and above in one order. For CRISPR packages (from design to fly), our prices remain unchanged. WellGenetics still covers the increasing material cost and fluctuation of exchange rate to provide our best quality and the best services for you.
